Research, Engineering, and Product Direction.
I believe that problems are best solved from an interdisciplinary approach. Great works are made when every aspect of the product creation process comes together: from the problem statement, the user research, engineering & implementation, to the market strategy and campaign execution. I’m passionate about this integrative approach, and have spent years exploring every detail about what it takes to execute intentional and effective solutions to problems that matter.
I have a background in Cognitive Science & computational modeling at UC Berkeley. While at Berkeley, I co-taught Data Science & The Mind (CogSci 88) & Introduction to Jazz Improvisation (Music 98/198), and was involved in research projects at BIDS , Jacobs Institute for Design Innovation , & the Language And Cognition Lab.
